Bridal Show Tips

Getting ready for the big Bridal Show this weekend?

Allow me to give you some tips. They will save you time and your writing hand all at the same time.

1) Create an email address that is for wedding business ONLY! This will allow you to not always have to deal with wedding emails when you're just not in the mood.

2) Print off address labels with the following info -
NAME (first and last)
WEDDING DATE
CONTACT PHONE, ADDRESS AND EMAIL (use your new "wedding" email)

3) Wear comfortable shoes (No brainer right? Wrong, we all love showing off our fashion sense .. this is not the right time. Believe me! When you make a one on one appointment you can show off your great taste in shoes, and everything else.

4) Wear layers of clothing. It's been chilly out in the morning but warms up quickly. You will be surprised how warm it can be with all the bodies in one space.

5) Bring a bottle of water.

6) Eat a healthy and filling breakfast.

7) You will be handed TONS of flyers, brochures, and business cards. Come up with a system to mark the information from the vendors that you like/love. You can fold the edges, put an X in the corner, or place them in a special bag.

8) Don't hire anyone if you're considering a Wedding Planner! A Wedding Planner reviews contracts, makes sure you're covered in areas most don't think of, and negotiates packaging.
